Folger 2007
Congratulations to Herndon Theatre's 5th pd drama 3 and 4 class who had a great day at The Folger Shakespeare Festival yesterday (March 13, 2007). We performed a one act cutting of "Much Ado About Nothing" and had a great day! We were awarded:
Excellence in Duet Acting
- Megan Carrick and George Lyon
- Nate Tao and Lauren Griggs
Outstanding Ensemble Performance
- Entire cast
The Peggy O'Brien Award
- For the ensemble of "The Watchmen" - Matthew Sipe, Yazen Sleem, Kelly Simoncic, Grace Poltrack and Jaqui Mette
- This is one of the two most prestigious awards of the day. It is for excellence in acting, commitment, comedy and capturing the joy of the festival.
The students did a fantastic job and were a class act both in their performance, their behavior and their support of the other schools. They represented Herndon with excellence!
